The challenge of winning again in the Murcian fortress
Valencia Basket men's team returned to
training this morning to begin preparing for the second game of their
quarterfinals series against UCAM Murcia, which will be played on Wednesday 22nd at 8:30 p.m. after the university team gained home-court advantage by
taking the first game of the series by 86-96. To extend its season and return the Playoffs to Fonteta, the Taronja team will need to win again on the court of a rival
with a 91.6% win rate at home, which has not lost at home so
far in 2024. Only Valencia Basket and Unicaja in the Endesa
League won in the Palacio de los Deportes de Murcia, consecutively in December 2023. Xavi Albert's men will seek to unbalance in favor of the taronja
team historic in the quarterfinal playoffs in which they started by losing
the first game at home.
